SOLAR HEATING SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION LOG

PROGRESS REPORT:   July 18-19  barn soffit vent installation.
 

I stapled soffit vent material in between the barn roof joists
in preparation for the spray in insulation foam.
This contoured material is made of 1/8" thick styrene foam
and is designed to allow air circulation under the roof.
The vented air excapes at the top and out the vents at
each end of the barn,

It was like a sauna in the barn and I sweated buckets
while clambering around on ladders wielding a hammer
stapler.  I drank gallons of Gatorade in 2 days!
