SOLAR HEATING SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION LOG

PROGRESS REPORT:   July 24  Insulating the barn - day 2

The insulation foam installation took less time
for the first floor - about 3 hours since it was more accessible
and no ceiling to do.  Yesterday they had delays due to
the spray nozzle clogging up, but today went smoothly.
I was impressed when they told me that the spraying
equipment was worth over $100,000!

After installation some of the excess had to be chipped away.
It is as easy to cut as stale bread, and can be cut with a
bread knife, or chipped out with the claw of a hammer.

 - the texture reminds me of hokey sci-fi sets like all the
cave sets in the original Star Trek series!
