"Digital Numeric Relevator Mk VII - Round Numbers"
completed March 1994
10" X 16" high

Part of the motivation for this series is my enjoyment of the physical beauty of the numeric displays.  For this piece I chose to create an open "joyous" gesture, like arms reaching up and out in celebration.

These are vacuum encapsulated glowing wires like a light
bulb with 7 filaments.

Each circuit simply counts slowly from 0-9 repeatedly, each one
at a slightly different rate ensuring that the number groupings
are always different.

This piece is available for $1350.00

CONSTRUCTION NOTE

I was fortunate to find these attractive incandescent display tubes, along with the tube sockets for them.  I have always found vacuum tubes to be inherently beautiful.
