Part of the motivation for this series is my enjoyment of the physical beauty of the numeric displays. For this piece I chose to create an open "joyous" gesture, like arms reaching up and out in celebration. |
These are
vacuum encapsulated glowing wires like a light
Each circuit
simply counts slowly from 0-9 repeatedly, each one
CONSTRUCTION NOTE I was fortunate to
find these attractive incandescent display tubes, along with the tube
sockets for them. I have always found vacuum tubes to be inherently
beautiful.
