This piece uses large red dot matrix LED displays that I programmed to "rain pixels" while also selecting random numbers on occasion. The design of the piece is intended to evoke a Sharper Image/Apple product from the Twilight Zone. |
CONSTRUCTION

These matrix displays are unusual in that the pixels are square rather than
round dots which is what attracted
me to them.
