This piece uses a back lit 2 line by 40 character LCD as seen in cash registers.  I have deliberately corrupted every aspect of the device.  Placing random numbers in random locations, and also fading the back light up and down at random rates and flickering it randomly.  I intent the effect to be disconcerting since the primary purpose of this series is to satirize our implicit trust in any electronic device that displays numbers.
