I started working on this piece back in 2016 but abandoned it because the code kept crashing.  Recently I have been mentoring a teenager named Sam Schultz in his gap year - teaching him various skills.  I dug out this piece to see if he could help me debug and enhance the programming (firmware).  He jumped in enthusiastically and in just a few hours we got it working and he added some clever ideas.

This piece uses 10 back lit 2 line by 16 character LCDs as seen in many electronic products.  However like all my Relevator series the displays show nonsensical information.  The dome is also filled with black sandblasting media to enhance the idea that this is a pile of broken stuff that is still somehow working.
